Fan shares love of game with family

I would like to thank Larry Henry for writing a great story about my mother (“Grandma AquaSox,” June 26.) I live in Montana and I do not get to see my mom very often. But I do call her a lot and when it is baseball season she sends me a AquaSox schedule so I know when to call or not.

Everything that Larry wrote about my mom was right on. She has always been a baseball and football fan. I was 12 when we got our first TV and from then on every weekend if there was a game on that is what we watched.

My mother is a great person and I am glad that all of Everett knows that now. She loves all of us kids very much and all of her grandkids also. She has taken, I think, most of her grandkids to a game with her. My husband (not a sports fan) and I spent our 10th anniversary at a game with my mom.

Again thank you for the article about my mom and I think that she should have an Ida Rush day.
