Gobel is obvious choice for county auditor

Great front page coverage of the county auditor candidates (“Election insiders face election denier for Snohomish County auditor,” The Herald, July 13). Seems pretty clear who our auditor should be!

Robert Sutherland does not trust elections. His track record in Olympia and his statements show his “plan” is to demean and damage our elections and democracy.

Garth Fell wants to tout that he is an “Independent” and he is just “following the law.” But he is careful to conceal who he really is. After the Marysville levy election where results were delayed due to poor management, despite “following the law,” it is clear we need an experienced, active leader with impeccable integrity.

Cindy Gobel is the only candidate who offers specific solutions to poorly run elections. She is completely transparent about who she is. Integrity.

As chair of Best Schools Marysville, she was the driving force helping people understand what they were voting for, and why it is important to vote. Leadership. Energy. That’s what I want in an auditor!

If you want integrity, energy, and leadership, Cindy Gobel is the clear winner!
