I was just thinking about our new much more religious Supreme Court and I guess I am a little worried about my right to be free of organized religion.
Lately I have seen and read things about religion in England and Europe through the years and was amazed that the English Civil War in the 17th century had more United Kingdom people killed than any war they had until World War I.
The King got things going by demanding the communion table should be turned a different way. Things went down hill from there. It is easy to see why the people who established our country wanted religion and government separated in all cases. It wasn’t much more than a hundred years past the time of the English Civil War that we had our own war with England. I think some of the people in a religious run country will lose their rights every time.
