Koster, Stevens are strong

It’s been my privilege top know congressional candidate John Koster and state Sen. Val Stevens through most of the 1990s, and I can scarcely think of two people who would better represent us in Washington and Olympia, respectively.

Someone described John as having “a backbone of steel,” and in this time when politicians list and sway with the popular culture it’s refreshing to know a man who stands firm in his beliefs. Val, too, does what is right – not what is expedient.

I’m also excited to endorse Dan Kristiansen and Kirk Pearson, running for state representative positions in the 39th District. Both are men of high standards and integrity who would bring solid experience to our Legislature.

Please give these candidates your vote on Nov. 7.
