Letter from Trump supporter gets abortion law wrong

Published 1:30 am Wednesday, December 9, 2020

In regard to a recent letter to the editor explaining his vote for President Trump:

Spreading misinformation for the basis of his vote is what is needs to be addressed since this is a public forum. He states that our civilization encourages the murder of unborn or just-born human beings. The practice simply does not exist. Senate Bill 359 supporters gave the impression this is a common occurrence, and because it was a GOP bill the religious zealots have kept the lie going without benefit of research.

Abortion is a constitutional right. There is no broken law. What women do in privacy of their doctors’ offices is none of his or other voters’ business. You may not like it but there it is. He states there are murders of “just born human beings.” Outrageous lie from spinners of conservative brain-locking made from the pulpit. They have made it “truth” for fundamentalists to push the conservative vote. This is ridiculous and shows manipulation in full force.
