Having been a life-long Democrat, I still believe there are good Republicans with good ideas out there somewhere. The recent Republican primary in South Carolina makes me wonder, though.
Until recently they fought in the courts to continue flying the “Confederate” flag on their flagpoles — the flag associated with bigotry and racism. Now they decided they couldn’t have a “Mormon” on their ticket. So they nominate an avowed philanderer. How do the women of that state feel about that? It gets funnier by the minute. Now the Republican Party of that state is filing a request with the FCC to get their own TV network — “Cartoon Channel.”
