This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath two-story in the Watermarke development near Lake Stevens.

It’s the Pendleton model, with 2,302 square-feet of living space and an attached, tandem three-car garage.

A front door with leaded glass inset window opens to a foyer decked with oak flooring. A formal dining room is positioned to the immediate right and is completed with formal chair railing and shadowbox millwork. The room also includes an oversized window overlooking the front yard and cul-de-sac.

The main living floor is comprised of a formal living room, kitchen with informal nook eating area, powder room and the garage. A switchback staircase ascends to the home’s sleeping floor, where a bedroom suite, three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room complete the home.

The center-island kitchen has a granite tile top with a five-burner gas cook top. A small breakfast bar is provided on the opposite side. Other kitchen features include wood paneled cabinets with crown molding, tile backsplash, vinyl flooring and stainless steel appliances.

The extra-large living room has a raised-hearth gas fireplace trimmed with granite tile and framed by a formal wood surround and mantel. Above, the wall is wired for a flat-panel, high-definition television. A storefront door opens to a large exposed-aggregate patio and a private back yard.

Completing the entry level is the powder room, which has a pedestal sink and hardwood flooring.

At the top of the stair landing, a French door opens to the bedroom suite. It has a soaring vaulted ceiling with a decorator shelf along the interior wall, and two walk-in wardrobe closets with ventilated wire storage shelves.

The suite’s five-piece bathroom has a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, a mosaic tile backsplash, soaker tub with tile surround and a freestanding shower with faux white tile shell.

All three remaining bedrooms have paneled sliding doors enclosing standard closets, windows with wood wills and overhead lighting.

Features of the upstairs full bathroom include a single vanity topped with ceramic tile, complementary vinyl flooring, a square-shaped privacy window and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

Across the hall, the generously-proportioned laundry room accommodates a full-size washer and dryer with room to space.
