This week’s featured new home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a three-car garage, a bonus room and a home office. The two-story home, which was built by North Crest Development, is at the Hemlock Ridge subdivision in Lynnwood.
The main level is comprised of formal living and dining rooms, a kitchen with an informal nook eating area, a family room, a home office and a three-quarter bath. Upstairs is a master suite, two additional bedrooms, a bonus room, a full bath and a laundry room.
The home’s foyer is open to the second level and decked with oak hardwood flooring. It has a chandelier, a plant shelf and vertical windows that flank the door.
The formal living room has a 10-foot ceiling, a floor-to-ceiling window that overlooks the street and two square-shaped windows that maintain privacy but fill the room with natural light.
An arched opening that’s framed with two columns provides an elegant entrance to the formal dining room. A 10-foot, double-coffered ceiling with crown molding and Venetian plaster has a chandelier as its centerpiece. White millwork includes chair railing and shadowboxing on the lower walls.
A center island-design kitchen features oak hardwood flooring, granite tile countertops, custom ceramic tile backsplashes that ascend to oak-paneled cabinets with crown molding, a built-in desk, a stainless steel sink, an appliance package with a gas cooktop range, plus indirect, drop-down and recessed lighting.
The informal eating area provides a buffer between the kitchen and family room. Sliding glass doors open to an extended patio and a generous back yard. The family room’s focal point is a natural gas fireplace trimmed with a granite tile border and a formal wood surround.
The home office, which could be utilized as a bedroom, has a standard closet with bi-fold doors, crown molding and a wood-wrapped window. Completing the main level is a bathroom with a single vanity topped with tile, a vanity mirror framed by a wood surround and a walk-in shower with a ceramic tile surround and a clear glass enclosure.
At the top of the staircase, French doors open to the oversized master bedroom. A short corridor leading to a spa-like bathroom has closets on either side.
Bathroom amenities include two vanities on separate walls, ceramic tile countertops, framed mirrors, complementary tile flooring, an oversized corner soaker tub encased in a tile surround, a freestanding shower and a private toilet room.
The bonus room, which could be utilized as a fourth bedroom, features a wood window seat complemented by two windows.
The second bath has a double vanity and a shower/tub combination. In the laundry room are overhead cabinets, a folding table and a laundry tub.
