Two-bedroom townhome

near downtown Everett

This week’s featured new construction, Lombard Villa, is a duplex-style townhome condominium complex near downtown Everett.

All four units in the double-duplex development have 1,254 square feet of living space, 2.5 bathrooms, two main-floor bedroom suites, one secure parking space and a carport spot. Street parking is also available.

The units include a landscaped courtyard entrance in the front, garage parking from an alley, and a rear entrance made via a common area with colored and stamped concrete.

Exterior features include tapered pillars, a covered porch, cement-based horizontal lap siding, stained cedar shingles, and board and batten gables.

Interior features include engineered hardwood flooring, slab granite countertops, Shaker-style cabinets, black and stainless steel appliances, vaulted and nine-foot ceilings, and wood-wrapped windows.

The foyer is brightened by lower and upper level windows. A staircase ascends to the upper level, and a short corridor leads to the two main-floor bedroom suites. Two storage closets and a laundry room complete the entry level.

One bedroom suite faces Lombard Street, the other an alley. Each suite has two large windows with Craftsman-style millwork, a generously-sized sleeping area, a walk-in wardrobe closet with square-shaped privacy window and ventilated wire storage, and a full bathroom.

Bathroom features include vinyl flooring, a single vanity with slab granite top and backsplash, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

The laundry room includes an exterior door that leads to a detached garage and rear common area.

A great-room, kitchen, powder room and home office or third bedroom are on the upper level.

The great-room has hardwood flooring, a vaulted ceiling and a French door that opens to a Juliet balcony overlooking the street. A gas fireplace in the room is trimmed with slate tile hearth and border, and an entertainment alcove is positioned above it. Two vertical windows flank an insert window, and all three overlook a side yard.

Kitchen features include paneled cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, a short breakfast bar, slab granite countertops and recessed lighting.

The home office is completed with two vertical windows, and though lacking a closet, it could be utilized as a third bedroom in a pinch.

Completing the townhome is a powder room with pedestal sink, slate tile floor, and beveled and oval vanity mirror.
