This week’s featured new construction is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath unit in the Trailside Townhomes condominium in the historic district of Snohomish.
With 1,443 square-feet of living space, the unit’s main floor includes a foyer, short hall leading to a great-room, kitchen, powder room and attached one-car garage. The upper level is completed with a bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room.
Hickory flooring covers the foyer and extends throughout the entire main floor. Open to the second level with a large plant shelf half way, the area is brightened by six vertical windows at the upper level.
A short corridor leads to the great-room, with the powder room and access door to the garage positioned along the way. The home’s natural gas furnace and hot water tank are in the garage.
The great-room combines formal living and dining areas. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and has a window facing a side yard.
The living area is highlighted by two corner windows, a gas fireplace trimmed with slate, and a sliding glass door that opens to an exposed aggregate patio overlooking the Centennial Trail.
Kitchen highlights include slab granite countertops, oak-paneled cabinets with crown molding, and stainless steel appliances. Among the other features are an extended breakfast bar, pantry closet, undermount stainless steel sink, and recessed lighting.
A staircase with square-shaped spindles and wood railing ascends to the upper level. The bedroom suite’s sleeping area has a cathedral ceiling and oversized window.
The suite’s closet is positioned along the right en route to its full bathroom. Bathroom amenities include a single vanity topped with ceramic tile with a mosaic tile backsplash, full vanity mirror, vinyl flooring and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
The two remaining bedrooms, both facing the front, are completed with vaulted ceilings, frieze carpeting, radius corners and paneled sliders enclosing standard closets.
Features of the full bathroom include a single vanity with ceramic tile top, matching vinyl flooring and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
