This week’s featured new-construction home is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Craftsman-style two-story in the Creekside at QuilCeda development near Marysville.
Built by Steven D. Andersen Construction Inc., the open floor plan has 2,521 square-feet of living space and includes numerous custom materials and features.
The main living floor is comprised of a foyer, formal living and dining rooms combined into a great-room, a kitchen with informal dining nook, a family room, powder room and a two-car garage.
A bedroom suite with five-piece bathroom, three bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room are upstairs. A loft is at the top of the stairs.
Artisan maple pre-finished four-inch plank-style flooring covers the foyer and extends into the hall, kitchen and nook. The great-room is positioned to the immediate left.
The living room has a high vaulted ceiling and oversized wood-wrapped window. The dining room is completed with a nine-foot coffered ceiling accented with double crown molding.
Slab granite countertops, a custom ceramic tile backsplash, and cherry-paneled cabinets with crown molding highlight the center-island kitchen. Other features include stainless steel appliances and drop-down and recessed lighting.
A sliding glass door in the nook opens to an exposed aggregate patio and fenced back yard.
The expansive family room includes a gas fireplace trimmed with cultured stone accents and a formal wood mantel.
Upstairs, the loft has an interior window overlooking the foyer below, and a large window facing the street.
A French door opens to the extra-large bedroom suite’s sleeping area. The room is augmented by a walk-in wardrobe closet with ventilated wire storage shelves.
Features of the suite’s bathroom include a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, a mosaic tile backsplash, tile flooring, a corner soaker tub encased in a tile surround beneath a privacy window, and a freestanding shower with tile surround.
The remaining three bedrooms are average in size and are completed with wood-wrapped windows, Alabaster light fixtures, and paneled, double bifold doors enclosing standard closets.
The home’s second full bathroom has a double vanity with tile top, tile flooring and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
A built-in laundry tub is included in the utility room, which has tile flooring.
