Snohomish’s Cade Strickland takes home the singles crown. Shorewood’s Xander Gordon and Peter Kosten win the doubles title.

Snohomish senior Cade Strickland took home first place last week at the Class 3A District 1 boys tennis tournament, beating JD Drake of Shorewood by scores of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles play, Shorewood sophomore Xander Gordon and junior Peter Kosten placed first, besting Thomas Mahoney and Ben Browne of Edmonds-Woodway 6-1, 6-2.
