Local girls basketball teams hit the hardwood on Friday night to mark the end of Week 1.

MUKILTEO — Edmonds-Wooday improved to 1-1 on the season with a victory over Kamiak.

Kendall Carrol led Kamiak (1-1) with 14 points Lauren Pethick added 10.
