EVERETT — Kayla Lorenz and Aniya Hooker combined to score 15 points in the first quarter as Lynnwood jumped out to a 23-3 lead and stormed to a 50-25 league win over Everett on Thursday night.
Lorenz finished with 13 points, Hooker finished with seven and Mataya Canda added 11 for Lynnwood (3-2, 3-1 Wesco 3A/2A), which held the Seagulls to just nine first-half points.
Mae Washington scored a team-high nine points and Lanie Thompson added seven for Everett (4-4, 3-1).
