Jim Mora just met with the media, and said that center Chris Spencer has a slight tear in his quadricep, and that “As we sit here today it appears he won’t be ready for the start of the season.”
As for the rumors about Edgerrin James signing with Seattle, a team spokesman said the team will address that speculation tomorrow.
Craig Terrill, who had to be helped off the field Saturday, has a back contusion and should be back at some point this week, though maybe not for tomorrow’s practice.
Julius Jones, Nate Burleson and Aaron Curry, all of whom missed the preseason game, are expected to be back at practice tomorrow.
Grey Ruegamer, who has been out for a while with an elbow injury, is also schedule to come back this week.
