KENT — The Everett Silvertips recorded their eighth straight win Saturday, beating the Seattle Thunderbirds 2-1 at ShoWare Center.
Sean Richards scored a goal in the first period to give the Silvertips a 1-0 advantage.
After Seattle’s Nolan Volcan scored a goal near the end of the second period to tie the game at 1-1, Everett’s Max Patterson tallied the game-winner for the Silvertips (24-7-1-0) in the third period.
Everett’s Gianni Fairbrother and Sahvan Khaira recorded assists.
Dustin Wolf made 43 saves for the Silvertips.
