Biased writing drags players through mud

Once again we are subjected to The Herald’s college football “reporter” John Sleeper’s diatribe about the Husky football program/team (“Get real, Husky fans, this team isn’t that good,” Nov. 12). I put the word “reporter” in quotes because the writer’s obvious bias puts into question his professionalism and credibility.

Mr. Sleeper, what is your problem? Don’t you enjoy being a reporter and/or did you apply for admission to the “U” and get rejected? If it is the latter, I understand but don’t agree with your continual venomous attacks on the institution and its alums.

However, Sleeper’s piece Monday was a partial attack on 18- to 22-year-old students/athletes. That is both tasteless and mean spirited. Shame!
