Cartoon was awful and in very poor taste

I opened my Herald recently to my favorite page, “Opinion.” The cartoon jumped at me and I was nauseated. On the same page were some letters and a great article by columnist George Will – all remembering a very special man, Ted Williams.

I was horrified to think that my daily newspaper would print such a sick and totally unnecessary thing – that awful cartoon.

What were these people at The Herald thinking of? Certainly not the possibility of a relative or dear friend or anyone respecting Ted Williams’ career.
