Rejuvenated war memorial honors vets

I was pleased to see the Herald item about ceremonies at the rejuvenated war memorial.
My brother, Bud (Ira, Jr.), was killed in WWII on his 20th birthday. My mother, Lois, became president of the Gold Star Mothers, and started a drive to build the war memorial, which she designed.
That is where fine young men who died for America were honored on Veterans Day.
