Daniel James Krause, a 1997 graduate of Snohomish High School and a 2001 graduate of Western Washington University, recently completed Naval Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Fla. Krause was ranked in the top 10 percent of his class. Ensign Krause will soon begin pre-flight indoctrination classes in Pensacola, followed by flight training at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station (Truax Field), Texas. He is the son of Nancy and Roger Krause.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Daniel C. Cordell has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Cordell is the son of Sam Cordell of Everett. He is a 1995 graduate of Snohomish High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Tyler B. Farmer, son of Charles and Marty Farmer of Lake Stevens, recently completed boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. He is a 2000 graduate of Lake Stevens High School and a 2003 graduate of Henry Cogswell College in Everett.

Army Reserve Pvt. Joshua P. Yuse has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Yuse is the son of Paul and Bonnie Yuse of Edmonds. He is a 2003 graduate of Edmonds-Woodway High School.

Army Pvt. Christopher A. Saunders has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Saunders is the son of Gary Saunders of Coupeville.

Army Reserve Pvt. Nichole Moman has graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. She is the daughter of Lois Moman of Arlington and a 2002 graduate of Arlington High School.

Marine Corps Pvt. Kevin L. Schireman, son of Elizabeth and Jeffrey Schireman of Everett, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. He is a 2003 graduate of Everett High School.

Army Pvt. Jody F. Badders has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Diana Elting of Everett.
