Crave Party gives women a chance to be pampered

Women at Girls Night Out’s Crave Party can bask in relaxation from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Inn at Port Gardner with activities such as massage, waxing and acupuncture services.

Melody Biringer, the brainchild behind Crave, said Crave is a great excuse to grab some girlfriends, indulge and network.

The girly environment is definitely conducive for fun. With pampering services, shopping and a pajama fashion show, the night offers women a relaxed atmosphere, Biringer said.

Other services include an Indian head massage, the ultimate four-handed massage by two people, and acupuncture for relaxation. There is also a face-mask treatment with hand massage, henna tattooing and foot treatments.

It is free to attend, but spa services are served up a la carte. Attendees must register in advance for designated spa services at the Web site. Space is limited, but still available.

National Crave events typically host a few hundred to 1,500 women, but the Everett event is on a smaller scale, Biringer said.

“I’m looking forward to this one because it’s smaller,” she said.

Upcoming Crave events include holiday shopping parties Nov. 24 at The Roundhouse in Vancouver, B.C., Dec. 1 at Montgomery Park in Portland, and Dec. 8 at The Premiere in Seattle. Holiday shopping parties offer all the fun of Crave but feature five hours of access to more than 40 designer and boutique stores.
