How do you prove evolution theory?

In the Tuesday letter “Not science without doing experiments,” Charles Ardary states, “until there is experimentation to prove or disprove the hypothesis … it should not be taught in science classes.”

Can you tell me please what experimentation to prove the theory of evolution has been accomplished? Perhaps neither, or both, the theory or hypothesis of evolution and the evidence of complexity apparent in intelligent design should be the criterion for deciding a school science course.
