OK, so 2005 was a record year for jet sales, and since I’m a business reporter, I’ve been focused on that. But last year also was a record-setting year for aviation performance, notes the National Aeronautic Association. http://www.naa.aero/html/records/index.cfm?cmsid=49

One of the most-significant acheivements, according to the association, involved a certain ultra-long-range jet built in Everett.
