As many as 10 airlines in Asia and Europe are talking with Boeing about the passenger version of the 747-8, Boeing marketing guru Randy Tinseth tells Bloomberg News. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000100&sid=aghHaQ7DeLEM&refer=germany
Key Quote: “‘We see five or six airlines in Asia that are interested in both the passenger and freighter versions of the airplanes,’ Randy Tinseth, head of sales, marketing and in-service support for the 747 program, said … ‘And probably three or four in Europe.”
Tinseth didn’t identify any potential buyers, but Bloomberg reports that Lufthansa, Singapore and China airlines have publicly expressed interest.
