Put donated food on Lake Ki docks
Put food bank donations on your docks at Lake Ki, northwest of Marysville, for the second annual Lake Ki Food Drive and Boat Parade. Donations will be picked up between 3 and 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by the boat parade.
Food bank items can also be donated at the Roadhouse Bar and Grill, 4915 Lakewood Road, or Country Burger, 3110 Lakewood Road, Arlington.
Motocross track rules get hearing
A public hearing is planned for 10:30 a.m. today on a proposed zoning change to allow motocross tracks on some rural forest land.
The Snohomish County Council meets on the eighth floor at 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
If approved, a new zone elsewhere in the county could provide an opportunity for the MXGP Motocross track to reopen. MXGP closed in Monroe last year. Zoning rules kept MXGP from building in Maltby, and proponents have been seeking an alternate site.
