Tastes like chicken?

Kentucky Fried T. rex. Scientists examining proteins found in the fossil of a Tyrannosaurus rex say its collagen is very similar to that found in chicken bones, (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/04/13/100wir_a3dino001.cfm?refresh=yes) adding weight to the hypothesis that birds descended from dinosaurs. It also answers the age-old question: Yes, dinosaur did taste like chicken.
Friday the 13th comes early for Imus. Now former-shock jock Don Imus will be looking for work, following his firing by CBS for his “nappy-headed hos” comment (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/04/13/100wir_a2imus001.cfm?refresh=yes). That’s unfortunate, because The Buzz thinks that Imus was simply misheard. After reviewing the tape — of course it’s on YouTube — it’s clear what he actually said was: “I’m an empty-headed host.”
It’s the Sound of Freedom, only cooler. Navy aviators at the Whidbey base got a look at the jet that will replace the venerable radar-jamming EA-6B Prowler (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/04/13/100loc_b1planes001.cfm?refresh=yes). A base official compares the Growler, an F/A-18 Super Hornet, to a new Cadillac, while the Prowler is like a 1976 Ford Granada. The difference between a Growler and a Cadillac is that Cadillacs don’t come standard with missiles, although that option would be welcome when the driver in front of you camps out in the passing lane.
