Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions.

  • Everett: $3,257 to Dell Marketing for flat-panel computer monitors.

    $45,000 to Everett-based Pacific &Colby Building to settle a civil claim for damages caused by a sewer backup.

    $11,885 to Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Conference of Mayors for 2007 membership dues.

  • Monroe: $67 to the state department of Corrections for city employee business cards.

    $803 to Fire Protection Inc. of Mountlake Terrace for Lake Tye Park security alarm.

    $84 to Monroe Glass for window screens.

  • Mukilteo: $150,000 to Otak, which has offices in Seattle, for preliminary design work to extend Harbour Reach Drive to Beverly Park Road.

    $160,000 to W&H Pacific of Bothell to study the city’s options to annex surrounding areas.

  • Snohomish: $162 to Federal Express Corp. for mailing documents.

    $99 to American Messaging of Carol Stream, Ill., for pagers.

    $968 to the city of Everett for testing at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
