Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions.
Arlington: $11,207 to Bailey, Duskin, Peiffle &Canfield for various legal services, including drafting documents for the City Council and dealing with municipal court issues.
$11,760 to Steve Gaidos Consulting of Issaquah for financial consulting related to the sale of a $3 million bond to pay for part of the city’s North Olympic Avenue reconstruction project.
Everett: $19.33 million to Woodland-based Stellar J. Corp. for the construction of a new clearwell at the city’s water filtration plant.
$1.6 million to Phoenix-based Carollo Engineers for the design and construction services at the water filtration plant.
$180,000 to KLB Construction for 200 feet of sewer-line protection south of 36th Street and east of I-5.
Granite Falls: $2 million to McClure &Sons Inc. of Mill Creek for expansion of the city’s sewage treatment plant.
Monroe: $363 to East County Senior Center for April transportation program.
$1,438 to Kool Change Printing Inc. for anti-drug campaign brochures.
$67 to Monroe Parts House for a four-wheeler battery.
Snohomish: $1,080 to Accountemps of Lynnwood for a temporary receptionist.
$173 to DataQuest of Everett for pre-employment background checking.
$20 to Everett Stamp Works of Everett for a nameplate for the city’s support services director.
