Where fireworks are allowed for holiday

With fireworks stands open, fire officials are urging people to use fireworks responsibly and safely.
In 2006, 1,001 fireworks accidents were reported to the state Fire Marshal’s Office. Those included 207 injuries, of which 66 were to children under the age of 14.
In Snohomish County, fireworks rules vary among cities. Everett, for example, bans the sale, possession and discharge of fireworks.
Here are fireworks regulations in the county:
Arlington: Fireworks are allowed 9 a.m. to midnight Wednesday. Violators can be fined up to $5,000 and a year in jail.
Bothell: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Darrington: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
Edmonds: Fireworks are banned.
Everett: Fireworks are banned.
Gold Bar: Fireworks are banned.
Granite Falls: Fireworks are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Tuesday, 9 a.m. to midnight Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday.
Index: Fireworks are from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
Lake Stevens: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Tuesday, 9 a.m. to midnight Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday. Violators could face a misdemeanor and a fine.
Lynnwood: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Marysville: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Mill Creek: Fireworks are banned.
Monroe: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to midnight Wednesday. Violations could bring fines.
Mountlake Terrace: Fireworks are banned.
Mukilteo: Fireworks are banned.
Snohomish County (unincorporated): Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
Snohomish: Sale and setting off fireworks are allowed Sunday to Wednesday. Violations could bring up to $300 fine or 90 days in jail.
Stanwood: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to midnight Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday.
Sultan: Fireworks are allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Island County
Camano Island: A celebration is planned for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Freedom Park at Terry’s Corner with politicians; Jerry Wachsmith, a Pearl Harbor survivor; the American Legion and the Camano Men’s Choir.
