Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions.

Everett: $2.67 million to Synagro West LLC of Houston for the removal of solids at the water filtration plant.

$25,500 to ALKAI Consultants LLC of Silverdale for an asbestos survey and removal plan for the Everett police headquarters and the municipal courthouse.

$42,000 to Dykeman of Everett for architectural services related to flooring replacement on the Wall Street building’s fifth and sixth floors.

Lake Stevens: An additional $4,959, for a total of $13,501, to Hebert Research of Bellevue for work on the census of the recently annexed Soper Hill area.

Lynnwood: $66,929 to Wilson Surveying &Engineering of Greencastle, Ind., for topographical surveys of seven streets that have problematic water lines, and for the design of a new water line for 182nd Street SW.

Marysville: $167,974 to the Snohomish County PUD to relocate utilities for the planned widening of State Avenue from 136th Street NE to 152nd Street NE.

Monroe: $1,542 to Sprint Nextel Corp. of Reston, Va., for city staff cell phones.

$1,140 to Siskun Power Equipment of Everett for mower parts.

$44 to Elite Lock &Safe for keys.

Snohomish: $16,284 to Weed, Graafsta &Benson Inc. for June legal fees.

$45 to Snohomish County Fire District 4 of Snohomish for building use fee for all-city staff meeting.
