Volunteers teach sewing, knitting

Clothing and Textile Advisor volunteers have scheduled Saturday Needle Arts classes, open to those age 8 through adult.
Sept. 22: seam finishing, 9 a.m. to noon; knitting I, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 27: machine buttonholes, 9 a.m. to noon; knitting II, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Nov. 10: knit T-shirts, 9 a.m. to noon; stitched buttonholes, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Classes, $10 each, are in the Snohomish County Extension offices, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. Students must provide their own sewing machines. Prerequisites, class size limits and kit fees may apply to some classes.
