Martha Stewart writes for the little people today. Her column is about the trauma of moving precious chandeliers and knickknacks from her old mansion to her new one.

Not to spoil the ending, but as always, rigid organization pulls her through the crisis.

The robot invasion is coming. Engineers are working on robotic social companions, hoping to make it easy to buy yourself some friends.

It sounds like something out of “Weird Science,” but there are some differences. In the movie, a pair of nerds conjure up their idea of the perfect woman — smart, beautiful and willing to let you watch unlimited football. In this case, the nerds are going for the perfect toddler — smart, adorable and you can control it with a remote.

The developer hopes the robot will be able to convey real human emotion. Researchers are hoping for the same from Martha Stewart some day.

Honesty’s a good thing: Michelle Singletary rails against get-rich schemes today. You have to be square with people about investments. Martha learned all about that a few years ago.
