Here is how some of your tax money was spent in recent city council action:
Arlington: $233,108 to Kennedy-Jenks Consultants of San Francisco to provide consulting services for the city’s wastewater treatment plant and compost facility.
$770 to Smokey Point Plant Farm in Arlington for plants for the municipal airport and city parks.
$310 to the Rotary Club of Arlington to cover club dues and lunches for city executives and members of the City Council from July to December of 2007.
Lake Stevens: $20,714 to Snohomish County for road striping.
$16,000 to B&L Utility of Snohomish to replace storm drain pipelines on 15th Street NE.
Monroe: $258 to Sky Valley Towing Inc. of Monroe for tow services.
$68 to Verizon Wireless for an Internet card.
$134 to Hiller West, the city’s community development director, for travel expenses.
Snohomish: $212 to Northern Energy of Everett for propane tank refill.
$8,845 to SNOPAC, the county’s emergency dispatch center, for dispatch services.
$473 to U.S. Postmaster for postage from Sept. 7 to 18.
