LYNNWOOD – A man suspected in the latest string of espresso stand robberies was arrested overnight by Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives.
The 22-year-old was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of three counts of first-degree robbery.
On Monday, a gunman walked into Hot Shots Espresso &Ice Cream near Martha Lake and demanded cash. Earlier in the day, a gunman also held up A Touch of Italy Espresso in Mill Creek. The barista there, Chelsea Monroe, said she believed the same gunman is responsible for both hold-ups.
The police investigation continues, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
