Man hurt in crash with school bus near Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD – A man was hurt this morning when his van rear-ended a school bus headed to Mountlake Terrace High School, police said.

The man, 27, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

None of the students was seriously injured in the crash that occurred about 6:30 a.m. near Lynnwood, she said.

The accident remains under investigation.
