SNOHOMISH — A man injured in a crash on U.S. 2 last year died Sunday from complications of his injuries, his family said.

Gregory Lee Solberg, 52, of Snohomish, died at his home, his brother Jeff Solberg said.

Gregory Solberg was turning left onto U.S. 2 at Bickford Avenue on Oct. 26, 2006, when his pickup truck collided with a dump truck.

Solberg is the 46th person to die after a crash on the busy east-to-west highway in the past eight years.

He is survived by his wife, his parents, two brothers, two sisters, a stepdaughter, four step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, Jeff Solberg said.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.

Stanwood: Neighbors to discuss crime issues

A group of people living in rural Stanwood plans to meet to discuss property crime in their neighborhoods at noon today at the Stanwood-Camano Fairgrounds. Sheriff-elect John Lovick plans to attend. Several area law makers also have been invited.

Neighbors organized the meeting after becoming fed up with home break-ins.

Everyone is welcome.
