Marysville: Blankets sought for needy
The Marysville Community Food Bank is collecting blankets for needy families for the holidays.
New or lightly used blankets and quilts may be dropped off from 8 to 11 a.m. every day except Wednesday and Sunday at the food bank, 6518 60th Drive NE.

Stanwood: Quilters sew for soldiers
The Stanwood-Camano Hero quilters plan to meet for their last sew of the year from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Stanwood Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW.
Everyone is welcome to attend and help sew quilts for wounded soldiers. The group has 58 quilts in various stages of completion.
