The following are selected reports from area police department blotters.

Edmonds

Dec. 16

Theft. 16400 block of 75th Place West. Vehicle prowled. Speaker box, amp, back pack were taken from trunk. Vehicle paperwork taken from glove box. No forced entry. No suspect information.

Dec. 15

Theft. 500 block of Walnut Street. Jewelry and other items stolen from condo during three week time frame while remodel was occurring inside.

Burglary. 9200 block of 234th Place Southwest. Residence burglarized while homeowners were gone.

Dec. 11

Auto theft. 22000 block of Highway 99. Vehicle stolen off of a used car lot. No suspects.

Disturbance. 23500 block of Highway 99. Disturbance involving a knife did not result in any charges.

Narcotics. 8100 block of 236th Street Southwest. Subject arrested for Minor In Possession, under assumed identity. Marijuana discovered during search. True identity revealed and Department of Corrections escape warrant located. Booked at Snohomish County Jail.

Theft. 700 block of Vista Place. Report of a vehicle prowl with items stolen. Vehicle unlocked. No suspects.

Dec. 10

Assist outside agency. 23500 block of Lakeview Drive, Mountlake Terrace. Edmonds Dive Team assist to Mountlake Terrace police department in recovering a stolen vehicle from Lake Ballinger.

Theft. 800 block of Driftwood Place Southwest. Unlocked vehicle entered and items taken.

Theft. 700 block of Driftwood Place Southwest. Vehicle prowl of unlocked vehicle. Items taken. No suspect information.

Dec. 9

Auto theft. 7900 block of 236th Street Southwest. Edmonds resident reports that her vehicle was stolen from her home.

Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace

Dec. 14

Theft. 2300 block of 226th St. SW. A Brier man said someone took three wooden snowmen from his front yard and broke some plastic candy canes.

Dec. 13

Drug possession. 5700 block 220th Street SW., 12:41 a.m. Police cited the driver and a passenger of an Acura Integra for illegal possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver also was issued a citation for driving while his license was suspended. Police confiscated 14.4 grams of marijuana with the help of a drug-sniffing dog. A second passenger was not arrested.

Dec. 12

Car theft. 6301 St. Albion Way, Mountlake Terrace, 5:36 p.m. A 20-year-old man told police someone stole his 1993 Acura Legend from its apartment parking spot.

Van stolen. 23300 block of 39th Pl. W. A Brier man said someone took his 2000 Ford Econoline van without his permission from in front of his house after breaking a window of the vehicle.

Dec. 11

Mischief. Mountlake Terrace High School, 21804 44th Ave. W., 7:39 p.m. Police spoke to two boys who’d climbed into the rafters after gaining access through a hole in the boys’ bathroom ceiling. The boys’ parents were contacted.

Drug posssession. 244th St. SW., 1 a.m. Police arrested a 25 year-old Seattle man for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and booked him into Snohomish County Jail. Officers also forwarded driving while license suspended charges to the county prosecutor’s office. A passenger was booked on a Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Shoplifting. Roger’s Market, 23120 56th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace, 2:53 p.m. Police cited a 45-year-old Shoreline man for attempting to steal a bottle of wine.

Shoplifting. Bartell Drugs, 22803 44th Ave. W. Police cited a 47-year-old Mountlake Terrace man for shoplifting after he attempted to leave the store without paying for a digital photo viewer and an invisible ink pen.
