Arlington: Water hearing scheduled

The Arlington City Council plans to hold a hearing on proposed water use efficiency goals at 7 p.m. Monday.

The council wants to hear from residents during the hearing.

The meeting will be held at City Council chambers, 110 E. Third St.

Marysville: Crafts, scrapbooks at YMCA

A parent-child craft night is scheduled every Tuesday and a scrapbook club every Thursday at the Marysville Family YMCA.

The craft group meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the club, 6420 60th Drive NE. The scrapbooking club schedules its meetings for 6 to 10 p.m. every Thursday.

A $2 fee per person is required for the craft gatherings. The scrapbooking club is free to members, $2 for nonmembers.

Stanwood: Author to speak at library

Local author and historian Karen Prasse plans to give a presentation at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Stanwood Library.

She is the author of “Images of America: Camano Island.”

The Stanwood Friends of the Library is organizing the event.
