Cascade beats Jackson

EVERETT — The Cascade girls bowling team upset Jackson 2-1 Monday at Glacier Lanes.

Led by Sara Elliott (183 game, 535 series) and Breanne Mattson (217,596) the Bruins improved to 17-13 overall.

Jackson’s Baiba Rubinis rolled a 221 game and a 594 series to pace the Timberwolves (21-5).

Everett defeated Ferndale 3-0 in the Monday’s other match. Chrissy Taylor had a 181 game and 507 series for the Seagulls (24-6), while teammate Brianna Kinman rolled a 180 game and 510 series to lead Everetty past Ferndale (6-24).
