Edmonds: Talk business at Rotary
Business owners can discuss things they would do differently at an Edmonds Rotary meeting set for today.
The business development group meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Bay Dental at 51 W. Dayton St., Suite 301. The doors open at 7 p.m.
Several speakers are planning to talk about how people can improve their businesses.

Lynnwood: Comment on city water plan
People can comment on the city of Lynnwood’s water conservation plan at a public hearing scheduled for this week.
The hearing is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the city’s utility maintenance center, 20525 60th Ave. W.
The state Department of Health requires agencies that provide water services to implement plans to promote water conservation. The city’s water conservation plan was last updated in 2005.

Mill Creek: Blocking trees to be trimmed
Trees that are obstructing street lights around the city are scheduled to be trimmed this month.
A city-hired contractor is planning to trim the trees during a two-week period beginning this week. The contractor will start with areas where the problem is worst.
