Completely Floored

Has holiday shopping already left you completely floored? Maybe that’s exactly where you need to be. You see, End of the Roll Carpet and Flooring of Everett will soon change its name to Completely Floored — a great place to purchase a gift certificate for someone you love.
Bill Missler, owner, believes that a gift certificate for flooring, tile or countertops can make a perfect gift for people who want to update their home. The gift certificates are available in any amount, are easily tucked into a Christmas stocking and can be used for any product at End of the Roll, including bamboo, carpet and laminate.
Of course, it’s perfectly fine to send letters to Santa about your own home updating needs. Maybe a hint to Santa will supply you with new countertops for your kitchen. “We have slab granite and Benissimo Granite that you put in like a puzzle,” Missler said. Benissimo Granite is a modular-slab granite system that is precut into corners, edging and field tiles, making it a less expensive alternative to slab granite. Each tile includes eased edges to minimize seams and grout lines.
Measuring for Benissimo Granite is simple. The tiles are designed to fit most standard countertops with little or no cutting. “You can install them yourself or have a professional do it,” Missler noted. Because you order Benissimo granite by the piece, you reduce the cost and waste of your project.
Flooring is another home update that is right up Santa’s gift-giving alley. The choices at End of the Roll are plentiful. “Any new flooring will spruce up the home,” Missler said.
“We have 20,000 square feet of showroom here, and if the customer can’t find what they want in stock, we definitely have a beautiful showroom to special order from.”
It generally takes five to seven working days to get special orders. Installation usually takes place within one to two weeks of an order. “We have true, professional installers,” Missler said. “We spent eight years looking for the best in the industry.
They were all hand-picked, and we keep them busy because they are so good.”
If you’d like to try your hand at installation, End of the Roll provides free clinics. “If somebody wants to learn how to install laminate floors, for instance, we’ll take them from A to Z on how to do that floor,” Missler said.
Throughout the year, everything at End of the Roll features special pricing. As Missler put it, “The pricing will have you floored.” During the holiday season, Missler is running an extra special on area rugs, to help out Santa’s budget. “If you buy a hard surface flooring material, any rug in stock is 50 percent off,” he said.
Whatever Santa brings you — a comfortable frieze, warm cherry hardwoods, tongue and groove cork tiles or rustic ceramic tile — be sure to thank him with some hot cocoa and a few tasty treats. Mr. Claus will definitely want a chance to sit down, relax and admire your beautifully updated home.
