GOLD BAR – Police are looking into a fight between neighbors in Gold Bar this morning that sent a man to the hospital with stab wounds.

Two neighbors were fighting over a fence line around 11 in the 17600 block of 442nd Drive SE, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

The men, 51 and 41, got into a fist fight, she said. The older man was hitting the younger man when the younger man allegedly pulled out a boot knife and stabbed the older man in the shoulder and back.

The man who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, she said.

Deputies arrested the 41-year-old for investigation of second-degree assault, Hover said.
