Middle Eastern carrier MAZ Aviation wants not one but six Airbus A350 XWB “prestige” or VIP jets. It has signed a commitment with Airbus for the corporate jetliners, the jet maker said Tuesday.
MAZ Aviation’s request includes one A350-800 and five A350-900s. The deal is the largest corporate jet deal in Airbus’s history.
“The kind of private customer that buys a VIP widebody wants the very best, and that’s exactly what they get with the Airbus A350 XWB Prestige,” said Mohammed Al Zeer, MAZ’s chairman, in a press statement. “With more cabin space, more range and a more modern design, the Airbus A350 XWB is the VIP widebody of the future.”
