Airbus wins $5 billion in orders, cuts A380 outlook

A couple stories coming out of the Berlin Air Show this morning …
Airbus snagged more than $5 billion in orders from Bahrain’s Gulf Air. The carrier placed requests for 35 Airbus jets including 15 A320s and 20 A330s.
That’s the good news for Airbus. The bad news? Airbus officials cut their sales predictions for their A380 superjumbo jet this year. The European jet maker sliced A380 sales projections to 20 orders from 30, according to Thompson Financial News.
