Sandberg and Strand
Angela Sandberg of Stanwood and Jeremiah Strand of Conway plan an Aug. 3 wedding at Countryside Meadows in Arlington.
Their parents are Irene Sandberg of Stanwood and Rodney Sandberg of Mount Vernon, and Paul and Debra Strand of Conway.
Angela is a bookkeeper at John Brown CPA in Mount Vernon. Jeremiah works at Kayak Point Golf Course. During the marriage proposal, the couple’s dog, Rosie, brought the ring to Angela in a little purse.

Edward Allan and Alma Jean Geue of Snohomish will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 20 with a friends and family.
Edward and Alma met in college at Ohio State University. It was love at first sight. They were married June 20, 1948, in Ohio.
Edward is a retired veterinarian.
Edward and Alma have three children and four grandchildren.
