Fundraiser for gospel singer

The Inglemoor High School sophomore football team and other supporters are hosting a spaghetti feed fund-raiser with a performance by the Circuit Rider Quartet, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria at the W.A. Anderson Building, 18603 Bothell Way NE, Bothell.

Proceeds will benefit Duane Ranstrom, 44, his wife and five children. Ranstrom recently suffered a catastrophic heart failure and is in a coma and in the Critical Care Unit at Providence Hospital.

Ranstrom, founder and lead singer of the Circuit Rider Quartet, a country gospel group, is also the high school’s sophomore football coach.

A raffle will include several autographed Seahawks items and a silent auction for two Seahawks tickets valued at $1,500 each, with seats in the red zone suites at Qwest Field at a game of the winner’s choice.

Ranstrom founded the band more than 20 years ago. The group has performed at the Evergreen State Fair and many other local events.

A fund has been set up at Washington Mutual bank in Beckey Ranstrom’s name for those who are unable to attend the dinner.
