Snohomish County PUD, 9 a.m. Tuesday , PUD headquarters, 2320 California St., Everett. Commissioners will consider buying the Youngs Creek Hydroelectric project located four miles south of Sultan for $745,000.

Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. Council members are scheduled to vote on a new zoning category for mobile home parks. The zoning change is voluntary and could result in lower property taxes for mobile home parks that agree to remain open for at least five years.

Mukilteo City Council, 7 p.m. today, City Hall, 4480 Chennault Beach Road. The council is planning to hear a status report on development along on the city’s waterfront.

Lynnwood City Council work session, 7 p.m. today, City Hall, 19100 44th Ave. W. The council is planning to review 2008 comprehensive plan amendments.

Arlington City Council, regular meeting, 7 p.m. today, City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third St. The agenda includes a look at the draft comprehensive plan for the city’s sewer system and a public hearing on proposed land-use code amendments.
