Woman’s life threatened in e-mail

Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park:

Aug. 22

Burglary. 15100 block Stone Ln. N. A resident witnessed two males climb over a fence to an apartment pool area and vandalize the pump house.

Vandalism. N. 175th St and Meridian Ave. Victim’s vehicle windows were broken by an unknown suspect.

Aug. 21

Larceny. 19400 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone smashed a car window and stole loose change overnight.

Larceny. 2200 block NE. 200 Ct. A credit card was stolen from an open purse.

Burglary. 17700 block 28th Ave. NE. A female heard a noise and then saw a shadow at her bedroom door. Police determined that the area was secure.

Suspicious circumstance. 4000 block NE. 205th St. A neighbor reported a suspicious, unoccupied vehicle parked in front of their residence with its lights on.

Aug. 20

Threats. 18000 block 17th Ave. NW. A woman received an e-mail stating she would be killed if she did not pay a large sum of money to the sender.

Indecent phone calls. 17700 block 12th Ave. NE. A woman reported nuisance phone calls from an ex-roommate.

Aug. 19

Vandalism. 16600 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone spray painted pink graffiti on a dumpster and an exterior wall of a building.

Auto theft. 500 block N. 166th St. A vehicle full of carpenter’s tools was stolen from a private driveway.

Fraud. 18800 block Fremont Ave. N. A male reported six unauthorized transactions using his debit card number that amounted to $300.

Suspicious circumstance. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A woman who was taking a morning walk found items scattered around. When police investigated the scene they told a woman she could not stay on the property and she cleaned up her belongings.

Aug. 18

Liquor violations. Police responded to an underage drinking party where no one would answer the door. Before impounding several vehicles, police confiscated marijuana and a pipe from one vehicle.

Burglary. 17000 block Meridian Ave. N. A door to an elementary school was pried open and a portable CD player was stolen but later recovered.

Suspicious circumstance. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. Police observed a male walking randomly around a parking lot and looking into vehicles. Police contacted the male who said he was working for a security company and checking for transit passengers who use the lot as a park and ride.

Aug. 17

Vandalism. 1800 block N. 155th St. School turf was damaged by juveniles who took their mother’s car without her permission.

Aug. 16

Drunkenness. 200 block Ashworth Ave. A male was found sleeping with no pants on in the roadway.

Vandalism. 1100 block NE 170th St. An unknown suspect spray painted and used a black marker to vandalize vehicles.

Larceny. 14800 block 25th Ave. NE. Items including credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Vandalism. 17000 block 12th Ave. NE. An unknown suspect sprayed graffiti and wrote words on a vehicle.

Fireworks. 39th Ave. NE. and NE. 162nd St. Neighbors called police after hearing what they believed were fireworks.

Aug. 15

Assault. 19300 block Kings Garden. Police responded to a physical altercation between kitchen employees.

Threats. 19300 block Palantine Ave. N. Someone reported receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown caller.

Theft. 4000 block NE. 197th St. A male found a purse, a backpack and several other items while searching for his stolen wallet.
