EVERETT – Police are trying to identify the man suspected of robbing a pharmacy earlier this week.
The suspect went into the Walgreens pharmacy located in the 13100 block of Bothell-Everett Highway about 8 p.m. Monday, Everett Police Department Sgt. Robert Goetz said in a press release. He jumped over the pharmacy counter and demanded OxyContin, a prescription painkiller classified as a narcotic.
Goetz said the suspect implied that he had a gun but no weapon was seen.
After employees handed over the drug, the suspect fled the store.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with blond hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.
Anyone who might have any information is asked to call the Everett Police Department tip line at 425-257-8450.
